Breakfast at hotel… which was rather sucky by now.. coz it’s the usual sunny-side up egg, vege, porridge, bread and very oily ham.. not too nice… BUT since we paid for it, we have to eat it..
After we braved the cold and the rain yesterday, we decided to bring our jackets and umbrella… haha… the hotel’s umbrella is really cute and weird at the same time… haha
Head for CKS memorial Hall.. which was ez to go since, it’s juz a mrt ride away…
we reached there early coz we wanted to see the changing of guards thingy….BUT we were too early…so… we took pictures of each other to pass time!
Anyway, the changing guards thing was really nothing much… it’s kinda like our changing guards ceremony at the Istana.
After which, we went to the Xinyi District… those high-class shopping centres are located there…. Wah.. and my sis bought a authentic Emily the Strange bag there! She’s like got money means muz spend lor…
Then we took picture of the Taipei 101, which was pretty tall… haha… and we made a BIG discovery!!! Look at the following pictures first!
Man!! The building is falling!!! Haha… juz joking.. it’s juz the angle lar…. BH is such a good photographer! Wahaha… and for that… he got scolded by my sis ;X
The rest of the day was SHOPPING day for us! Went to Wufenpu.. which was a wholesale place… they sell lots of clothes (male + female) at a low price…so I bought like 2 blazer-like jackets there..which was abt $10 cheaper than Singapore… and a nice dress…the bad side abt buying at Wufenpu is… all clothes are FREE size, means… it may not fit you perfectly and you CANNOT TRY the clothes… so I didn’t buy much..
At night.. we walked ard at XMD and ate a delicious meal.. which was quite expensive in my opinion… BUT we are able to spend $$ on a ex dinner because… we cannot get train tickets to Hualien on sat!!! As it was Mother’s Day on Sunday! Very disapted… BUT I think BH and my sis were quite happy… haha.. coz they can shop more… and going to Hualien means we need to do some trekking…and all of us were quite tired…
Oh… and we ate Ah Zhong Mian Xian! It’s super yummy!!! Muz try! BUT I think there were some pork in the noodles… well…. We didn’t eat it… gave it all to BH.. haha
We ended our night early abt 12? As.. we felt tt we needed to utilize the flat-screen TV in our room!
13 May (Sat)
We woke up slightly late… coz… no pt waking up sooooooo early mah… all the shops dun open so early… haha
So we went shopping again…. This time at HuoCheZhan, which is at the Railway Station.. iyah… nothing much lar… dunno why the pple in the forum say tt it’s a good shopping place…
We went to this Art and Craft Street instead… where BH needed to help his mum to buy some stuff… and my sis and I ended up buying beads and all… to mk our own jewelry! I muz say tt the beads and blingsX2 are quite cheap there… oh well… ur fren here.. haven’t started mking the necklace or brooch yet.. haha
After which, we took a long bus ride to Tianmu (which is kinda like our Holland V)… except tt at Tianmu, pple go there for hikes…and the scenery is quite nice… and v cooling…the shophouses there overlook a hill… nice…
At Tianmu, we went to this popular restaurant known as PS BUBU, it’s a place where u dine inside the vintage VW. If u rem the popular drama , Liu Xing Hua Yuan, this is the place where San Cai and Dao Ming Si ate ice-cream at. Tell u, the food here is extremely ex… luckily we reached the place at 4pm? Else we wld have no seats… still nvm… if you wanna mk a reservation, the 3 of us muz eat at least 500NT each ($25SGD)!
We spent a long while there… it was very empty at tt weird timing.. so we manged to tk pics with all the cars! Wahahaha… the pics are very nice…. show u guys some! haha
man… the drink is like 1 cup for 180NT ($9SGD).. can’t rem how much the rest of the food cost.. luckily, we didnt eat a full meal…else we will be soo broke!
then we went to Zhong Xiao later… and saw Jay Chou’s shop.. which is nothing nice in particular.. it was sooo quiet tt we didnt go in…. the bright pick car is supposed to be his… took a photo of the car plate.. can go but 4-D! haha
and i bought a addias bag (this is a real addias… though i really hesitate to buy it).. anyway, it’s the same colour scheme as my addias shoe.
ended our day by going to Shilin NM… and we managed to eat Ah Zhing mian Xian for another time!! yummy!:tongue1 and took the last train back to our hotel! save on cab fee!

It’s mother’s day and our last day in taipei. we managed to walk ard in XMD before heading to the airport… and we watching Zhang Dong Liang live! cool right!! (btw, the stage is right in front of Rainbow Hotel! so if u stay in Rainbow, u can see him in the comfort of your room!)
went to the airport by Kuo Kwang Bus ( no more freego!)… the flight we took was FULL… but we still had window seats… the turbulence was quite bad (due to typhoon Pearl)… my sis had a little motion sickness and i was having a headache…. BUT we had Hagan Daz ice-cream this time!!! Belgium Chocolate Flavour somemore!!!! :wink1 nice!!!
the air stewardess was really nice… as she helped us to put out muah chee in the plane’s fridge! wah! and even told BH ‘rem to go for work tml ah!’ haha… BH was thrilled…. and his ego was booasted! :mad1
heez.. and i bought BH new perfume — David Off Game for Man and for myself Lanvin — Eclat D’arpege and a bottle of Peach Vodka!
