for me… i think coz….. i got to go for staff meeting at sch tml… and tt’s when i’ll noe my time-table for the next few weeks… untill the 22 july…. and that’s when i’m going back to study in NIE…
oh well.. for those who still didn’t know… i’m offered a crossover to the degree course… Bachelor in Science (Education) will be majoring in maths… hahaha… i bet my primary school teacher will be thrilled… i mean… i always fail maths in primary school…. :blush1
are you shocked?? can’t believe that i can mk it right? to tell u the truth… i was very shocked! i mean.. my rlts this sem are pretty bad… mostly Cs.. i was really upset…. BUT… when i saw the remarks at the bottom of the rlt slip… i was overjoyed… :beam1 and i thank God for this… coz it’s something that i really wanted….
thnking back… maybe not doing well for A-level to get into NUS is not a bad thing afterall…. coz… eventually, i got what i wanted… and it’s when i work really really hard for it that i feel that i’ll cherish it more…
hmmm… maybe crossing over to the degree course isn’t a BIG deal coz a number of my friends are crossing over too….however, i think God is soooooo great and wonderful…. coz when i prayed hard for crossover he gave it to me… and he even gave me a bonus…. heeez…. i’m being awarded the Beng Kim Holdings Book Prize for being the best student teacher in the academic subject Maths! :grin1 not a prestigious award.. who’s beng kim anyway? hahaha….BUT it’s the 1st time that i’m getting a reward for my academic studies…. and my sis was like… u can’t even teach me maths…how can u win the book prize! geeez… i totally agree with her…. :oogle:
well…i dunno how many pple are being awarded the book prize BUT i’m glad…. heeez… at least this made the Teachers’ Investiture Ceremony on the 29 June more meaningful for me..
i hope that i dun sound like an asshole who’s showing off her achievements.. BUT i juz wanna share my joy with all my friends here… :smile1
and you know what…. it doesn’t really matter that i need to go the extra mile…. as long as i work hard… i’ll be able to get what i want..
TO: my sis will be taking her A-level this yr…. if you are reading this…. pls study hard and put in ur best shot…then u dun need to go thru’ the long way…
