before i start let’s have an assumption – BH is the significant other.<\/em> <\/p>\n

today BH and I attended our YEP grpmate, Chee Wei’s church wedding… it’s a nice ceromony… simple.. yet touching and filled with love.. the type of wedding BH and I wld like to have..<\/p>\n

i think i’m really hopeless… i was tearing like crazy… coz… it’s really sweet and nice… i mean… i really felt the sincerity and the love… with God’s presence of course! and somehow i know they will be very happy not only for the day but in future… :smile1 and i think i cannot get married lor… i think i will be too touched and i’ll cry then… i’ll look so ugly…. and i cannot say the vow properly!!<\/p>\n

so.. we entered the church.. and we were greeted by him… felt very welcomed.. and chatted with him for awhile… and of course… it was the usual ‘so when wld it be your turn?’<\/em> .. haha… BH was like ‘that u need to ask amanda!’ <\/em> haha…<\/p>\n

the wedding was nice.. live band, chee wei sang for his wife… funny videoclip… BUT i guess the best part was when the pastor preached…i really like what the pastor said about LOVE today… to me… i think it’s extremely meaningful…<\/p>\n

he talked abt the motive<\/strong> of getting married… well..i whole-heartedly agree that the motive<\/strong> is very impt.. i hope that in future BH and i will not get married because it’s a natural thing to do as we dated a long time BUT it wld be because we love each other..<\/p>\n

i guess i need to agree with the pastor that the husband is the provider, the leader of the family and the wife needs to be submissive. If she is not submissive then how cld the Husband, the leader, lead the family? well… i hate to agree with this as i always thought that a woman is capable of what a man cld do… but… i juz had to let the weakness creep over me…. i guess… i felt extreme guilty coz i was hardly submissive and i felt tt BH is ‘cannot mk it’ … i think i have to let my guard down… and let him be the leader, the provider… the truth is he has what it takes… :beam1 <\/p>\n

he also preached abt ‘Sacrifice’<\/strong>.. how the husband being the leader of the hsehold haf to Sacrifice himself<\/strong>.. for eg: both husband and wife come home from work, very tired.. but some1 haf to mop the floor… so who wld do it? the husband shld sacrifice, he’s the leader! only when he’s willing to sacrifice then the wife wld be willing to be submissive… :wink1 and i noe BH wld be more than willing to sacrifice for my happiness.. :smile1<\/p>\n

Bh and i were like in a state of happiness and bliss… we are happy for our fren…. and we looked forward to ours…. and for once… i had no doubts tt it wld be a beautiful one… haha… Bh can play guitar and do nice flash! haha….Huiying, my NIE fren was sitting next to us… was saying ‘ so ur story will need to start with Bh tutoring ur sis!’<\/em> haha…<\/p>\n

oh.. and Bh was like saying how we wld bring our son to church too… wah… nice feeling….. now i pray… i pray that God wld give me more love… so that i have love overflowing out of me… only then can i learn to love better.. :blush1<\/p>\n
