{"id":295,"date":"2005-11-02T00:02:22","date_gmt":"2005-11-01T16:02:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fakedevil.com\/angeldreamz\/wp\/?p=295"},"modified":"2005-11-02T00:02:22","modified_gmt":"2005-11-01T16:02:22","slug":"reflections-the-unbearable-lightness-of-being","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secret.6eptember.com\/?p=295","title":{"rendered":"Reflections: The Unbearable Lightness of being"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>guess what i did on the FIRST day of my study week? heez.. i dedicated one day to read a book which i always wanna read&#8230;. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<strong>The Unbearable Lightness of being by Milan Kundera<\/strong><\/ul>\n<p>well&#8230; i finished reading 300+ pages of the book in 1 day&#8230; heeez&#8230; this goes to show how interesting this book is&#8230; yes..it&#8217;s a thinking book&#8230;. very <em>philosophical<\/em>.. it gives me new perspectives on life&#8230; love  and sex&#8230;. yes&#8230; SEX&#8230;. in fact, the 1st half of the book talks abt <em>sleeping together vs making love&#8230;. <\/em><em>the lightness of being single vs the burden (or heaviness) of being with someone<\/em>&#8230;. <em>infidelity of man<\/em>&#8230;. oh well&#8230; was quite disturbed with the &#8216;love-mking&#8217; part&#8230;. hmm&#8230; i shall not dwell upon it&#8230;. <\/p>\n<p>i think the good part of the book is.. how it answers some of my questions on life&#8230;. like&#8230; i do think <strong>ALOT<\/strong> and i always wonder what i utimately want in my life &#8230;.then this quotes explains my uncertainty&#8230; <\/p>\n<blockquote><p> &#8221; we can never know what we want, coz, living only 1 life, we can either compare it with our previous lives nor perfect it in our lives to come&#8221; <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>remember how i blogged about loving some1 with the head instead of the heart, there&#8217;s a quote from the book which contradicts my theorem completely <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;When the heart speaks, the mind finds it indecent to object&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>being a typical philosophical book&#8230; every event in the book is quite symbolic&#8230;i havent really analysed the events yet&#8230;. heeez&#8230; so whatever here is solely my opinion&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>go read the book.. then we can discuss&#8230; :wink1<\/p>\n<p>tml is studying day&#8230; sianz&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>guess what i did on the FIRST day of my study week? heez.. i dedicated one day to read a book which i always wanna read&#8230;.
